Skylark Recovery Trust was joined by supporters; press; police; politicians and the Lord Lieutenant today at the Maritime Museum Dumbarton, to say goodbye to Skylark as she leaves Dunbartonshire for the first time since her arrival in the 1970's.

Scones tea and music were enjoyed by all, before an emotional send off. Galt Transport of Dumbarton under a police escort left the Dumbarton Museum bound for the Maritime Museum in Irvine where the restoration will begin once the necessary funds are raised.

A great day was had by those in attendance, and the Trust would like to thank those who have supported the Trust and all who were in attendance. A special thanks to Galt Transport for their professionalism, without their support this wouldn't have been possible.
